Vodacom - charging double on migration of contracts

In July this year, Vodacom contacted me and offered me a RED contract. I accepted the new contract and they assured me it would be a smooth transition from my previous contract.

In Aug I received two Invoices - where Vodacom charged me according to my previous contract, which was still in force and another bill for data - assuming on the new contract - both for the month of July.

I contacted Vodacom and spoke to 3 different consultants - none of them who could explain why my account was debited with a massive (double) amount and why I had received 2 Invoices. They said they would refer me to the Finance/Accounts department - even this department could not help and said they would get back to me. It has been a week and a half and still i have note heard from them, despite following up - and assured that they would contact me.

Vodacom is proving to be expensive, unhelpful and plain unprofessional. This is not what i expected from a company like Vodacom - who promotes "better costs"and client service.
