Vodacom charges for theft

Vodacom debited my bank account in error in July for R3300 for data on my 3g that I did not use. I logged a query and they refunded the money to my vodacom account. I requested to have the money refunded to my bank account as I have installed adsl at home and no longer need the 3g. I have spent over 10 hours on the phone and 4 hours in the shop in Eastgate trying to get my money back. No one at vodacom will help me, accounts ptu me through to cancellations, cancellations put me throught to subscriber collections, oh and I ahve been told to please hold and then no one comes back to me, or I get told that I am being transferred to a manager and I get routed to the end of the customer care line. Absolutely disgusting. I was once told that there is a IT problem with the system and they will transfer me to IT so that I can log a call to have their IT system problem fixed!!!!!! You have gotta be kidding me, I have never dealt with such incompetence in all my life. I dont care about your IT problems. I just want my money refunded. Today after spending an hour and a half in the Eastgate customer care centre I was told that I really should have gone to the bank and asked the bank to reverse the debit order because Vodacom cannot refund me my money. WHAT! So now it is my fault. I am totally exasperated. I tell you what Vodacom, since you took money from me that you shouldnt have, and refuse to refund it, I am going to lay charges of theft against you at the police station, and then I am going to take my case number to the newspaper. If this is not resolved in the next week I am taking this further.
