Vodacom charge for Swap out of Router but wont send a damage report

On the 28th November 2019, the lighting struck my house and damaged some of the items in my house including the Vodacom Router. On the same day I phoned Vodacom to report the damage and the lady advised me that they will have to replace the Router. I asked her if they will charge me for it and she said no. I said to her that if they do I need to know so i can include it in my insurance claim. On the 17th December they came to replace the router and again I asked is there no charge and i was told no. I then submitted my claim to my insurance excluding any Vodacom claim. Today 1.01.2020 I get a bill from Vodacom for the Swop out of the Router :(. I phoned me insurance company and they said no problem they can add it to the claim but they need either a damage report from Vodacom or an email stating that they swoped the Router out due to it being damaged and none reparable. Vodacom wont provide me this, why Vodacom. You are so quick to bill the swap out but you cant provide a report to advise why you swapped the unit????? I dont think its fair of you to bill me when you clearing told me you wont, and if you bill me then to send an email or a report stating that the unit was infact damaged and thats why you had to swap it.
