Vodacom Cellphones Direct Agents are very disrespectful to customers

I had cellphone contrsct with vodacom from taken online with Cellphones Direct. The contract ended in September 2024. I called them to say I will not continue with the contract and was encouraged to keep the number, which I can do by taking Sim only contract that I can review in 3 months. I have another contract I took in 2023 for my daughter, in Mthatha centre. She opted to keep her prepaid number. I do not know from then it came that whenever Vodacom is calling me they call my daughter and ask for me. It came to a point where the agents literally threatened her that the number will be switched off , for her attitude by declining to give them my number. That to me was lowest of low, the primary number is in their system and my daughter's number has just been added to my account. How come now my daughter is being harrassed by Vodacom on her previously prepaid number? This went on for the whole year relentlessly. I called them last week to change to sim only contract for the primary number on the contract, which by the way has already expired in September. I called on the 8th of October 2024. Few minutes after ending the call, my daughter is getting messages about what I have been doing. And she is calling them panicking that I'd be upset with her updating the contract. She asked an agent about this and is told they can't talk to someone not owner of the account. Despite that things like advance had been offered to her though not owner of the account. I felt it is enough, I called Cellphones Direct and told them my daughter is not happy about this. She said she was looking in the system and that my daughter's phone is the primary number there. I did not want to argue something so unprofessional I asked her to remove her number because she is tired of this persistent vodacom calls on her phone. On the 10th I received a call offering me an upgrade, I tolld the agent I have already updated and need nothing further. She told me I have not done it for my daughter's number and I told her I need nothing there. Before finish the sentence she has dropped the call in my ear. I wrote to vodacom an email last complaining about this tantrum that when you say 'No' they think to be rude is some form of punishment. I rent the line, vodacon doesn't give me out of goodness of their heart. Calling me anytime they like is a disregard to my preferences. When it goes further as to slam a call they started, in my ears is very low even for them. I am under no obligation to take anything from Vodacom, to be angry about me declining any offer is uncalled for. I am tired of dealing with this behavior over and over again. Why don't vodacom stop calling existing customers and trust that if they need anything they would call? Or train their agents on how to treat customers with respect? Vodacom must stop this nonsense, it is uncalled for. Thank you Nolusindiso Matyumza
