Vodacom Cellphone reception and network coverage

Before November 2018, I recorded internet speeds of 20 Mbps (download) and I was highly satisfied with the LTE Vodacom network coverage. Since November 2018, I have been experiencing weaker internet coverage (0 to 5 Mbps), especially at my place of residence. An internet call was logged and a technician was sent out. He made an appointment (during March 2019) with me and would have returned with answers/solutions.

Another call was logged vide *** on 2 May 2019.

Needless to say that he never did and the coverage remained weak.

On Friday 26 July 2019, my problem worsened in that no cellphone network could be registered. Manual registrations were attempted, but the Vodacom network rejected the IP after approximately 5 minutes.

On Saturday 27 July 2019 another call was logged: *** and would have been channeled to Vodacom's Solution Experts. In order to do this, I had to walk approximately 300m from my place of residence to place the call to their help desk. The first advice the operator gives the client, is to email a request to Vodacom. How would this possible without cellphone reception? Are most of the clients not staying in cities and towns? If aforementioned is true, then why do we battle with simple things like cellphone reception and network coverage.

The initial advantages of the LTE network were - greater and faster network coverage. Obviously, this is not true or Vodacom cannot maintain what was promised.

I use to be of the opinion that Vodacom's network was the best of all network operators; although Vodacom's prices was the highest, I was prepared to pay premium for the service. Currently, I am not receiving the service that is paid for. I also have four contracts with Vodacom - all linked to the My Vodacom app. This situation will have to change if Vodacom do not deliver on it's promises.
