Vodacom Cellphone Migration

I requested for my contract to be migrated to Red VIP package. I visited the mall of africa vodacom store and app**** for the upgrade. The person took exceptionally long to process this request. I followed up on my upgrade telephonically as when month end reached, I realized I was still on the old package. The call center advise my upgrade was scheduled to be processed on the 13th of the Month. Was not too concerned, but when the 13th arised, nothing happened. I called call centre again later in the month and they advise the order was cancelled for no apparent reason. I then requested to do the migration over the phone. What a waist of time and effort to visit a store to perform a migration and then to be cancelled without notice. Who would be liable for the costs after the 13th as according to the system I should have been on the unlimited package. Absolutely pathetic service!

As discussed, there is issues with the system having visibility for packages that are not current. Customers are now Beta testing for Vodacom and costs incurred is still the customers liability. Our inconvenience is not their priority!
