Vodacom Cellphone contract horror!!!!

I had a cellphone contract with Vodacom. I requested them to cancel it as it reached the 24 month period. I went and asked them nicely to have it cancelled. they decided to charge me an amount for about R500, that they also could not disclose what it was for. I only saw the outstanding amount on my credit profile with Transunion, Vodacom did not bother to even call to inform me about this. They referred me to their attorneys which I phoned and they offered me a settlement amount. I paid that amount and my account was meant to be settled but still Vodacom and their attorneys has not cleared my name with Transunion since April this year.

I regret taking a cellphone contract with Vodacom and would like to alert others not to associate themselves with this company.
