Vodacom Cellphone Contract *****

I had a cellphone contract with Vodacom from 2018 - 2020. Before the contract ended after I was told I could qualify for another phone and I told them that I want to finish my contract first before I could apply for another phone but they told me that I can only apply for another phone before the contract expires. In January 2021 I was given another phone but the money that I was paying was too much. I realized that they had added airtime packages without my consent. There was time where I was even unable to pay because I wasn't working anymore because of the effects of lockdown & my account was now in arrears. When my account was in arrears that's when I started to notice that the money I'm owing was too much and when I asked how much exactly was my monthly installment and why it was too much I didn't get a straight answer. The contract I have right now is supposed to end in January 2023 but to my surprise I was informed that in January 2022 this year they had upgraded my contract without my permission/consent and it was now going to expire in 2025. I went to a Vodacom shop in New Market Mall, a certain guy gave numbers & told me that I had to call headoffice because this matter was too big for them to handle. I went to a Vodacom shop in Alberton City and a certain guy who was helping me, phoned the Vodacom headoffice asking them for the recordings where I agreed to this upgrade but he was told that the recordings have disappeared. The lady from headoffice said there were too many discrepancies with my account and she told me that this matter should be sent to the ********** department. My problem is that I'm not prepared to pay more for this phone and I've never agreed to that and please help me with this matter and if possible I want all my money that was taken **********ly without my consent back.
