Vodacom Case ***3 charged R 7 136 for a problem I did not have nor report

As a result of the bad service by Woodlands. The vodacom repairs centre has charged me an additional R 7 136 for something that was not malfunctioning.

I ONLY WALKED IN THE STORE WITH A PROBLEM OF AN EXPANDED BATTERY. The reported problem is typed in small letters, the EXCAGERATED NON REPORT CASE IS IN CAPITAL LETTERS

THE PHONE WORKS WELL IF CHARGED AND OBVIOUSLY CANNOT SWITCH ON WHEN THE BATTERY IS FLAT.

I wish to emphasize that I raised a concern of an exaggerated diagnosis at the store and Vusi told me this is how they are required reports.

I CANCELED OUT THE WRONG DIAGNOSIS AND EXPLAINED THAT ON THE SIGNED FORM.

I WROTE AN EMAIL TO VODACOM, THE ADRESES WERE GIVEN ME BY VODACOM CUSTOMER CARE.

HEREWITH 15 JULY EMAIL

To Whom it May Concern

I am complaining about

1. lack of service by Vodacom Woodlands under Vusi management

2. lack of status update on the phone I took to Vodacom Woodlands on Wednesday 12 July 2023 whose battery was expanding, posing a health hazard.

1. VODACOM WOODLANDS STORE

I wish to note that the Pretoria East community have been sending ratings about poor service at the store, and nothing is improving to the frustration of the community. The problem is not Vodacom network and connectivity, yet we are frustrated with Vodacom and our contracts and most of us looking for options.

I plead that Vodacom rescues us, please take the Store ratings seriously, the reports are diverse, similar and abnormally high.

I am disappointed about Tech bar technician, SAMSUNG REP at Store and Store Manager

The Tech bar wrote an exaggerated fault report to insuniate that my phone be recycled. He insists that I have overcharged my phone, basing it on his experience, which is wrong and I deem it defamatory and willing to take it further to prove my case and redeem my integrity

2.SAMSUNG S20 NOTE BATTERY ***)

I took my phone to Vodacom Woodlands and reported an expanding battery;

I have been using SAMSUNG for decades and this is the 1st instance

I also did a check on internet and disappointing SAMSUNG Smart phones of recent are experiencing expanding battery issues

I need SAMSUNG to replace a safe battery, that does not pose health hazards.

I have not received a status update since taking my phone to Vodacom Woodlands on 12 July 2023.

I am still paying for the contract and the phone.

I am trusting Vodacom and SAMSUNG brands to act in good faith and to act on facts not perceptions.

Kind regards
