Vodacom can’t do their jobs

I had a contract with Vodacom for the past 3 years. I called them in May 2019 to cancel the data contract which the consultant at the time said that they can’t find the account anymore as it has been cancelled already. He then assured me that the contract was cancelled and that no more charges will be taken off. Couple of days later an invoice arrives stating I owe money for the cancelled contract. I reached out to the call center again - it took them an hour to determine that the contract is not a fiber optic contract, but a plain data contract. The consultant assured me that the contract was cancelled. The same thing happened again last month, This time I went to the branch and the consultant at the branch told me that on the system the contract is cancelled, but Vodacom hasn’t integrated the systems with the billing- he gave me a reference number and said I should call them back to confirm about the cancellation and the refund I’m entitled to. When I called them a week ago- the matter was “escalated” but still haven’t heard anything from them. I have just received another invoice from Vodacom. This is ******* as I have performed everything as per the contact and cancelled the contract. I’m spending more money calling Vodacom ( as I’m outside the country) all the time to resolve this matter as very call is about an hour because Vodacom can’t do their jobs to find my contract.

Last year Vodacom allowed someone to **********ly alter my account.

I’m consulting legal action currently as this is totally unacceptable.
