Vodacom cancelled my insurance to not pay my claim
I had a swimming pool accident with the iPhone 6 and took the phone to Vodacom Centurion for the insurance claim. The next day the phone was returned saying it is BER and nothing can be done. No paperwork was given. I went home and read the insurance agreement which definitely covers liquid damage. I then started the claim process via the internet and was told that I need a job card from the service centre to prove BER. I wasted more time and went back to get the job card I should have got the first time and submitted it via email. During the process I also found out that I was not on the RED VIP package that I was supposed to have been upgraded to. I went back to Vodacom Brooklyn and changed my package to RED VIP and was told that I had a free upgrade from March that I had not taken. I took this upgrade phone and paid in the difference for a better iPhone 6s. This has nothing to do with my insurance claim. Now Vodacom insurance (Cellsure) says I only have insurance on the iPhone 6s and not on the 6 which means that they cancelled the insurance so as not to pay out the claim. I feel I am being done in and given the runaround so that I will leave the issue which I intend to take on
