Vodacom Cancellations

Emigrated to NZ 18 Months ago and have been trying to cancel an old Vodacom number since August 2017. I cancelled two of my other sim cards in the same month before leaving the country. After a lot of back and forth between vodacom and myself, I managed to get in touch with the cancellations department who advised me to do the following to cancel the numbers and close out the accounts: - Request a final invoice from them. - Settle my account - Send them the proof of payment together with a completed cancellation form to the mail adress - ********** I did this for those two numbers and the first two numbers cancelled. When it came to the third number I requested the same documentation needed to cancel this number. After about three weeks my account was debitted again and still didn't hear back from them regarding the matter. So I followed up again, twice in the same month and still no feedback at all. My account has been debited since even after trying to stop it through the bank. I've since contacted their customer care who have been asking me the same questions over and over, not really answering my questions and then advising me to contact the cancellations department on a different email address, which I did. They are now asking for for verification by asking me security questions I cant answer anymore because so much time has gone by and also asking for the cancellation forms I should have sent them back in 2017, for which I needed both a final invoice and the cancellation form them. Today I received yet another statement with fees for the coming month. For a number I haven't used in over 17months and have been billed for every month since. I'll caution everyone out there to think very carefully before signing up for anything with Vodacom.
