Vodacom Cancellation!!! Appalling Service!!!

If there was a rating lower than 1 or 0, I would give that to Vodacom!

Vodacom, your service is APPALLING, to say the least.

On the 23rd of October 2022, I went to a Vodacom shop to open an account for an Uncapped Home Internet package and right from the start Vodacom showed that they do not care about their customers with a lengthy process which resulted in me having to travel between my home and the Vodacom store 3 times due to Vodacom's systems. So I wasted petrol money, my time, as well as paying for parking again every time I went back into the mall. Eventually, 5.5 hours later the account was opened.

Fast forward 3 months and the Router I am provided with will not connect to the internet; I also kept getting an error saying that the "Wi-fi network uses an older security standard that's being phased out. We recommend connecting to a different Network". I had to take the router to their repair shop as I was told that the issue could not be rectified remotely. Vodacom repairs keeps the device for 2 weeks, they did not give me a loan as I was advised that there were no loan devices in stock, mind you, the Sim card is said to be locked to that device and so I cannot use it with any other device. So in that 2 weeks that Vodacom has my router I am having to use additional money to buy data. So that exercise cost me over R1000 in data only. When I EVENTUALLY get a notification that my router was ready for collection, I went into the Vodacom shop, only to be told that Vodacom did NOTHING on the router, they claimed that they found no fault on the router and so NOTHING was done on the router. No updates, nothing! Okay, then again, my Sim Card that came with the router was "lost" by Vodacom and so I had to wait for 3 hours for them to do a SIM-Swap as their "system was down".

Another 2 months down the line, again, I am not able to connect to the internet, I have to take the router back to the Vodacom repair shop. Same story, no loan device because they don't have in stock, so now I am again paying R749 per month for a service I do not have and there is no provision for a loan device for me to use the data I am already paying for, so I have to buy data and wait for Vodacom. Three weeks later, Vodacom sends a notification to say that my router is ready for collection. So, I go into the Vodacom shop yesterday the 26th of April 2023, I am told that Vodacom has given me a new router because the other router has been found to be faulty. Okay, I take the router and go home. Upon getting home and trying to put my Sim card into the router, I discover that the Sim Card holder has been removed from the Router. So, I have to drive all the way back to the Vodacom repair shop in peak traffic, already it took me 30 minutes to find parking the first time around, now I have had to return, again wasting my time, petrol and parking ticket money. I get back to the shop and I am told that they need to log ANOTHER query to their repair centre for this SIM card holder. In order words, there is nothing they can do, I need to leave and come back ANOTHER day (not sure when that will be). Meaning I have to keep buying data, drive back empty handed AND RETURN on ANOTHER day again to waste my time, petrol, and parking money because of Vodacom's sloppiness!!!!!

Vodacom, I refuse to keep playing this game with you, this ends Now. I am canceling this contract. I REFUSE to keep wasting my time and money on a service that does not work and a company that does not care about me as their customer!
