Vodacom cancellation and retention department
So heres my experience with vodacom.
I recently have been receiving SMS. Stating that I'm due for an upgrade.
So I called in and spoke to a lady and she advised that I could take a contract and they do have stock. This was in the 15th January.
Fast forward to Monday the 25th January and I called in as it is stated by Vodacom, advised that they don't have stock. And was transferred to cancellations. It was said they can deliver within 3-5 working days which was not done due to stock avalibility. So when I called in I spoke to cancellations and it was advised that they don't have stock. Which was not what I was told on the 15th. Spoke to a guy by the name of Norman in cancellations and retention and he advised that it's fine he will provide me with a device that was in stock.
I called in on 28 January and spoke to a lady by the name of veneshri in cancellation and retention it was advised that Norman sent out a quote yet didn't process the order to be finalised and she will ensure that within the next 30 mins I will receive and SMS and my order will be delivered on the 3rd of January.
Called in after an hour since I haven't received any communication. Spoke a guy by the name of siyabonga who put me on hold for 20 mins as I wanted to speak to a manger who could provide me with proper feedback. Which he stated their was no record of on their system by the last 3 agents. And no manager was available
I eventually ended up hanging up.
I have diligently paid my account over years never missed a payment. Vodacom send me SMS daily to advise that I'm due for an upgrade yet can't provide proper information to their customers.
Extremely disappointed by the level of service. I don't normally do this but consumers need to know the level of service Vodacom provides
