VODACOM - CANCELATION OF SIM CARDS IRRESPECTIVE OF AMOUNTS ON THE CARD AVAILABLE

On 7 August I've determined that my Pay as You Go sim card does not function anymore. I've called the Vodacom Customer Call Centre on Wednesday 7 August 2019. My complain was the following: A Pay as You Go sim card which was linked to my profile and which has been RICA does not exist. It was used approximate 60 days ago and that there was about R250 odd rands of airtime on it. Why was this sim card deactivated as it was linked to my profile? I was not informed that the card is going to be suspended. What did Vodacom do with the air time amount still available on the card.

I was informed that its Vodacom’s policy to delete all numbers not being used for two months. Ii requested that my card be reinstated, as Ii need to use it and that there is still air time on the card.

I was provided wit a SR number and the SR reference given was A2-FLY4-4DBT6. This SR reference was provided on Wednesday 7 August 2019 at 15h22.

UP TO TODAY NO FEEDBACK WAS PROVIDED AND THE CARD IS STILL INACTIVE AND THE AIRTIME AVAILABLE ON THE CARD IS IN VODACOM’S POCKETS.

Is this the way to treat your valued customers and be being a customer for yonks.
