Vodacom cancelation department is a ****!

I have had a contract with Vodacom from 2019 that was for 36 month. In March 2022 the contract was cancelled but for months month kept on being debited. Until we reversed the money. Every time we would go to the vodacom shop in Highveld mall in Emalahleni, we would be told that the contract is cancelled on their side but it is insurance that has to cancel. This matter has been on going since July 2022 and every time the “contract” has to be cancelled we would have to pay whatever amount due, of which we would, today the 13 of May, we have been handed to debt collectors and we had to go back to the vodacom shop to get a letter to prove to the debt collectors that we have done our dues. Thanks to an amazing consultant Argentina Pires assisted and found that the problem was not necessarily with insurance but vodacom! All these months we have been under the impression that the contract has been fully cancelled only for it to have been changed to flexi zero. Clearly the we are being made fools because vodacom does not want contracts cancelled but that means that we are in the right to open a case of ***** against vodacom for them reducing the contract to their choice and not what we knew! We have now been made to seem like uncivil citizens paying their dues, and stand to be blacklisted over the imbecile who could not do their work correctly and clearly is ********* for giving us the wrong impression. For months we have been blaming insurance and even vodacom would say they cancelled everything on their side only for this flexi zero to have been brought up months later! I do not know how vodacom wants us to continue with contracts if this is the treatment we get over our hard earned money! No one tries to jeopardize their credit score on purpose especially in this ridiculous economy! If vodacom thinks they are smart to involve the law, they have another thing coming for them! We too know the law and will fight even for those who do not know their rights!
