Vodacom Canal walk, management needs an overhaul

Took my phone in on the 8 Febuary 2017 for repairs. Two weeks later I go in to find out the status on the mobile device, they said it was "Beyond Repair" and it had to be send for "further assessment".

I go back in one week later to find out about the status yet again. All to find out that the phone had not even left the store for assessment and no-one had even taken a look at the device.

It was then March 08 2017 when I get a phone from Canal Walk Vodacom, I missed the first call and then phone back minutes later. They say "We are replacing the device but there will be R150 excess fee apon collection of the device, do you agree?" I rep**** "yes", today on March 10 2017, I recieve a phone call from Vodacom Head Office asking me the same question, with the obvious same reply "Yes". I then proceeded to explain that Canal Walk Vodacom had asked me the same question two days ago, how have they not relayed the message on, with a just an answer of "I am sorry to hear that you experienced this" and then hurried me off the line.

With the above explained, there is clearly poor management of employees happening at Vodacom in Canal Walk. It is a disgrace that a Billion Rand business can be run so poorly taking the advantage and walking over us consumers with zero concern or respect for their consumers, all they do is appologise with zero action. When will Vodacom ever take responsibility for their mistakes and diliver a better level of service. Power enterprises as yourselves should be pushing for 1st World level of service delivery.

I still have yet to receive my device back, I am thankful that they are replacing the device. But I recieved my claim number I went to the Cell Phone store aka Vodacom in Canal Walk, and they tell me that they (as in Vodacom Head Office)have to send the device to them(Vodacom in Canal Walk), which I do not understand as they have the device on sale in the store, how do they not have one availiable for the replacement device after the fact that this entire problem was brought on by Vodacom in Canal Walk?

When do these enterprises start doing the correct thing, taking responsibilty and when you have faulted on customer service delivery and go out of your way to deliver customer sattisfaction.

Reviewer Update

Dear Customer Service,

I have yet to have contact about my complaint here on hellopeter again, a billion Rand enterprise failing to diliver on customer service.

To expand on my review/complaint. Today I recieved the 3rd phone call from Vodacom Canal Walk from Monique about asking if I accept the replacement fee. Which I rep**** yes. It is now the 16 March 2017, and I am still waiting on my replacement phone. Aneesa from Vodacom Canal Walk said she does not know why this is taking to long to resolve and has been put in high priority as the same was said last week Friday. What does "Hight priority" mean to Vodacom, to me it means that it needs to be resolved immediatly. But nothing is being done, what is wrong with Vodacom? When are you taking responsibility surly you do not care about your consumers/client base, prove us wrong that you do. And start taking responsibility for your poor actions. I WANT THE PHONE YOU PROMISED ME FOR A REPLACEMENT!
