I phoned Vodacom on 12 Oct 2020 to request relocation of my fibre from Witpoortjie to Mindalore. I was told that there was no fibre available at that time and that I would be given an LTE router with 100GB free for one month and chargeable thereafter until Fibre was available. I was not provided with the LTE router.
My sister, whose property I live on, has fibre connected through Vox. Every time I followed up I was told my query had been escalated but no one bothered to come back to me.
I phoned repeatedly and was told me that Vodacom definitely did not have coverage in my area. I have been charged for fibre on 3 November which I paid on 29 November (for October), 3 December for November - this was not paid as Vodacom did not provide me with the service, 3 January for December, 3 February for January - which was also not paid. Why am I being forced to pay for fibre, which I desperately need but which VODACOM cannot provide???
They are threatening to cut my other services which have all been paid up to date.
When I call billing, they transfer me to fibre who continually "escalate" the problem but to no avail.
This has been going on since 12 October since I requested a relocation.
They refuse to put me through to anyone in a senior position to assist me.
