Vodacom Call Center -- Beware ********** Behavior
Beware of Vodacom Call Center agents and changes to your package - On the 4th January 2022 I got a call from VC call center saying I need to move of my per minute billing to per second billing, for the change VC will increase the data on my package ref *** has been generated. Several times I asked if my billings would change and was assured that no additional charges would apply. Anyways 12:30am 1 Feb 2022 I get sms saying that my package has been upgraded and various services been activated. I added the extra data at a cost, added Norton Anti Virus at a cost and contract insurance. I called call center and said they need to reverse all this as it was never agreed upon based on the charges. Lady says no problem she will reverse and new quote gets generated 1- ***. I have no idea what this quote is as nothing gets emailed and today I am asked to send proof of ID and POR to facilitate the order. So they **** me out of money and to get it back to what I wanted I have to proof who I am, that is crazy. I actual fact they owe me the extra data as that was what was agreed upon in 1st call - 5GB +5GB at no additional charge so a extra 2GB per month. This company is doing what Shaper Image Gym did many years ago and **********ly add items to your bill. Be aware of VC call center villains. Maybe a case of ***** at Police with Shamiel as Co- Respondent would get him to take ownership of what his staff are doing, if I was not paying with EFT this would probably gone un-noticed or if a company phone. wonder how many innocent victims are out there. People check your bills from VC after they contacted you.
