Vodacom Business, your partner of choice SUCKS!

Their adverti*****t says: "Vodacom Business, your partner of choice" My husband took this slogan to be the truth. However when he passed away in July 2021, and Vodacom learnt of his passing because his phone which was ensured was ****** in hospital, Vodacom stopped all his numbers and made them prepaid numbers. Please note that nobody gave instruction to Vodacom to stop and/or cancel his numbers. I only learnt about it AFTER they already made the changes. This resulted in losing ALL email addresses which were linked to any of these numbers. MY PLEAS TO REINSTATE THE NUMBERS AND/OR EMAIL ADDRESSES WERE MET WITH A TOTAL LACK OF UNDERSTANDING OR ANY ATTEMPT TO HELP. I could not give any attention to his business or even just send out a notice about his death with new contact details. To put the cherry on top, the INSURED ****** phone was NOT replaced because ONLY the (dead) policy holder can claim for the ****** phone! DO NOT LINK YOUR BUSINESS PHONES AND/OR EMAILS VIA VODACOM! IN FACT, DO NOT EVEN USE VODACOM FOR ANYTHING. They ignore you as if you are invisible. When a loved one passes away, the people left behind are in shock and do not know where to start between the bereavement, funeral arrangements and trying to deal with everything at the same time. The last thing you need is for a business where you have been a loyal customer for years, to add to your burden.
