Vodacom Business data disappearing and pathetic service
I changed my internet connection for my business from a different carrier to Vodacom. I had to call the designated sales person numerous times a day and still the process took almost two weeks. No vetting was needed as I already had other contracts with Vodacom Business. Eventually a Vodacom representative at one of the Vodacom shops helped me (he did all my other voice lines but was not a business agents, therefore not being able to help me from the start). 5days into my contract I noticed a 50GB usage on one day and 3 days later 70GB. I was on capped LTE for more than 5 years and never used more than 14GB in a day. The days in question I was not even home. I contacted the Vodacom business sales agent and requested an investigation. This he said normally takes a few days or week at max. However after numerous mails, calls and Whatsapps I still did not receive any feedback. I eventually got hold of him and he confirms that this was incorrect billing from Vodacom and that the data will be refunded. He further confirmed that it would take a day or two at max. Nothing happened and I had to load more data as my 150GB bundle was depleted before the mid of the month. I have now waited more than I month and still no feedback from the sales agent nor any credit of my data! The Vodacom sales agent has now blocked my cell number and does not respond to any form of communication. When I try and call him from my wife's phone he answers but just have more excuses. He denies that he blocked my number but I have called him 57 times over a week and his phone just remains engaged. Does Vodacom or its representatives have the right to block a customer? I never were rude with him nor did I raise my voice at him!! This is unacceptable and I do not have the time to follow up every day! My wife also uses the business line and being a doctor she needs reliable access to the internet. However due to this appalling service from Vodacom business she were forced to get internet access from a different service provider. I hope Vodacom either addresses this issue or I am going to cancel all my contract with them - I have 6in total with a combined monthly total of R6000!
