VODACOM BUSINESS CONTRACT

So my contract is due for upgrade with Vodacom. Two consultants phone me and are told I will personally call in at a Vodacom representative to view what is available. I am informed that my contract that was a Red package will jump by R600. eg from R1200 to R1898.00 I promptly told both on two separate occasions a week apart that i can not afford R1898.00 per month. I then visit a vodacom store in Walmer Park Port Elizabeth chose the contract and phone and was told they have not stock but will let me know when it arrives. I clearly stated that I am not going to pay the increase figure as I had attended to it as told to. I was reassured that it would not be increased as they would prepare the documentation and I would need to bring proxy letter as well as proof of address. However they would proceed in the meantime. A week later not feedback. I once again go back to the store and was told the phone I wanted was not in yet however it would be there the coming Tuesday. Two weeks pass and no feedback. I go in a third time and speak to Warren he then looks on the screens and confirms the phone in the colour I wanted has not arrived. I then again check with him on the increased amount and am assured that it wont go up. Low and behold Vodacom statement arrives and IT HAS GONE UP BY R600.00 . dispite me telling them over and over and over again I cannot afford the increased amount. Fortunately VODACOM I AM PROTECTED BY THE CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT AS I TOLD YOU I DONT WANT A R1898.00 DEAL AS I CANNOT AFFORD IT. THEREFORE YOU CANNOT SELL ME SOMETHING I CANNOT AFFORD. I REFUSE TO PAY THIS AMOUNT. When I phone your business devision Charlotte told my I should pay the R1200.00 and make arrangements to pay the balance. I SUPPOSE MY COMPLAINT IS VODACOM STAFF ARE BADLY TRAINED AS THEY CANNOT UNDERSTAND SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS. WHAT IS DIFFICULT ABOUT I CANNOT AFFORD AND AM NOT WILLING TO PAY R1898.00. HAVING NOW DEALT WITH NOT LESS THAN 6 PEOPLE THE MATTER IS STILL NOT RESOLVED.
