Vodacom bullying customers into changing current contracts for more expensive ones

This is as much a complaint as it is a warning to other Vodacom Customers. I have been contacted 3 times recently by Vodacom trying to force me to change my one contract to a more expensive one. The first time the lady said the type of contract has been discontinued, and I am forced to change to a different contract, and it will be R100 a month more, and actually **** to me saying that this contract used more than R100 top up every month so it was cheaper for me to take this new contract. I argued it was ******* to change a contract mid stream and she insisted it wasnt. After a lengthy and heated argument I was literally in tears, she suddenly changed her tune and said its not compulsory, but obligatory. I had two similar calls since then. Each time trying to push me to a more expensive contract, even though they say the rates are cheaper on the new contract. I object strongly to this really disgusting strong handed bullying of customers, and especially the lies. What is going on Vodacom?? This is the most disgusting marketing tactic I have ever experienced. Its insulting and I am sure must be bordering *******.
