Vodacom Bully

In store staff are very helpful. Online (app, call centre, Help/chat services) are useless.

I have just tried to look on the app for upgrade options, after being m. ugge d by 4 men a few days ago, and received an error. The online chat just shows typing with no actual information. I called in using the number the app advised and after the line being dropped by Vodacom more than once, which in itself is extremely frustrating, eventually got through to a male agent.

I explained the situation & that I want to go through my options in my own time while researching with the app options as guideline, only to be pushed and pressured, being asked forcefully why I wanted to not go via him, being made to feel dumb/in. competen. t to make decisions re my needs and finances on my own.

Not once did he offer to put me through to the correct department or person, if he couldn't assist, but was comfortable forcing his agenda- to get the sale, even after I said I needed time to process the options & costs by working through the app.

This behavior was extremely triggering & is not what I needed after already being put in this horrible position over this past week. Not sure I'd want to stick with Vodacom given that they bully already vulnerable persons for sales (as I'm certain I'm not the only one), vs just assisting with a simple request.
