Vodacom build on lies and deceit.

I have been struggeling since July 2022 to get an explanation from Vodacom regarding the 120% increase on my line rental as Red VIP customer. My line rental increase from R800 to R1800 from Sept 2020 to July 2022. Until current date nobody from Vodacom cared to give me reasons as to how they increase the Red Unlimited package line rental from R800 to R1800 in 18 months. Then I decided to start cancelling my cellphone cintracts as they came to end of contract. On 13 January 2024 I phoned Vodacom cancellations to cancel my data contract which had expired. The operator, Niroshen then offerred me an 50% discount on all my accounts. I then agreed not to cancel the contract on this offer or promise made. I upgraded the contract and took an iPhone 11 on the upgrade. Bear in mind calls are recorded. Then on 5 February 2024 I received my latest statement from Vodacom and noticed that the promised discount was not loaded and I was still charged pricing as before. I phoned then Vodacom customer care on 6 February 2024 to query my account. The operator promised me to look into the account and draw the recordings and elevated the matter to higher management in Vodacom. Again call was recorded by Vodacom. To date, 21 February 2024 I have received no answer or feedback from either the 2 call centre operators or Vodacom itself.

I will never again promote Vodacom to anybody as I believe this company is not truthfull in their dealings and will only take your money without attending to your complaints. I will continue to cancel all my Vodacom contract going forward and move my business to MTN once all cintracts have ended. Recently I have declined any and all offers to upgrade or increase data from Vodacom or any of their subsiduary agents.
