Vodacom breaks phone & advises mediocre substitute

My phone (Sony Xperia z3 compact) was initially booked in at Vodacom Repairs Century City on the 2 February 2016 with Job number 11 371 547. This was for a minor loose screen. The phone was ready for collection on the 18 February 2016 at 15H20. Upon initializing of the phone, I noticed that it does not pick up any wifi signals post the repair. The phone was re-booked in at the same repair center on the 19 February 2016 with job number 11 411 995. On the 1 March 2016 (today), I received a call in the morning from Tracey who informed me that my phone is going to be replaced and I have 2 options, to take a brand new Xperia z3 compact or opt to take another phone; but a staff member from Vodacom Repairs Century City would call me to discuss that. At 19H27 on the 1 March 2016, Aneesa from Vodacom Repairs Century City called me to tell me the 6 options of replacement phones that I qualify for as the they do not have stock of the Xperia z3 compact. All 6 of those phones were mediocre substitutes and a significant downgrade from a Xperia z3 compact. And to get the next in line to the Xperia z3 compact would be the Xperia z5 compact; I would have to pay an excess of R3000.
