Vodacom breaches yet another contract

My daughter's cell phone was ****** last night. Tried to do a sim swop today and was told I couldn't because my account was in arrears. I've had the account for years and my account has been paid on time every month. Their explanation.... 1stly is that my debit order bounced... Really?!? ... then after requesting to speak to a senior person "Brendon Matthews" he tells me no "Because I chose the 1st as my collection date and the 1st is a Saturday, the payment will only collect on Monday and that is why my account is in arrears and they can't give my daughter a new sim. Trying to explain to him that this is not treating your customer fairly he tells me it is my fault as I chose the 1st as a collection date (Well my I wonder who offered the 1st to me as a collection date and has been collection thousands of rands from me over the last couple of years on the 1st of every month...) When he had no answer to this he had the arrogant attitude of saying your account is in arrears and that is how it is I can't do the sim swop. Well thank you Brandon, can't wait to take my money to another cell phone provider. Well done Vodacom! You have processes and staff you can be proud of (NOT). You cause hardship for your clients and breach your side of the contract and nobody seems to care because you are Vodacom and we are the little people.

*PS - I offered to do a cash payment just to give my daughter her sim, but I was told by Brandon that would not be accepted?!? Go figure..
