Vodacom breaches POPIA ACT AGAIN!!!!

Isn’t this order by The Information Regulator against Vodacom coming at such a perfect time since I have been making you aware over and over again that since you were so carless in issuing me an recycled number without taking the proper care of insure that the previous “owner” of this number hasn’t been “attached” to various court orders!!!!! The effect of this being that I get harassed by various law firms for outstanding account, correspondence being sent to me with all sorts of information that should have been protected by Vodacom under the POPIA act. This is just perfect. I’ll be sending a nice little bundle of documents to the Information Regulator implicating Vodacom over and over again and highlights how you simply pulled up your shoulders when I made you aware of this!!!

I will not respond to these private messages. This again just highlights what I mentioned previously.

You have all my account details so you can send me an email.

Thank you

Looking at your response it is once again clear that you have absolutely no clue as to what I am talking about. Being ******** wont excuse you from this. I’ll include your correspondence with my complaint to the information regulator.

So what you are saying is that you have no obligation in terms of the consumer protection act to not redistribute a number that has been subjected to legal action? Legal action that you yourself instigated against your own “customer”? So basically according to yourself a previous customer from yourself should call the attorneys that is trying to execute a warrant against him or her and produce them with their new contact details and address? Wake up!!! You are truly living in a dream world. The fact of the matter is that you knowingly redistributed a number that was subjected to legal action which you instigated resulting in your new customer to be constantly harassed by attorneys (calls and messages). Furthermore by redistributing this number whilst knowing the background led to various information being sent to your new customer that is detrimental to your previous customer.

Again it is astonishing how you play the victim!!!!!
