Vodacom blue route bad service

To whom it may or may not concern,

The worst service I have ever received was from Vodacom Blue Route!!!

I waited 30 minutes to be seen even after I had informed the "help desk" that my phone was ****** and I urgently needed to block the number.

I thought it would be standard practice that any customer, especially a loyal Vodacom customer that has had a business contract for over 15 year, would receive immediate assistance in this type of circumstance.

It was blatantly obvious that Vodacom and their staff have no compassion for someone that has been involved in a traumatic experience. It is very apparent that the “customer service” vanishes the moment you sign the dotted line and hand over the money...... really makes you think.

I am an understanding person and realize that there are other customers but in this case there were many staff member that were not at all busy and could have easily given me the urgent assistance I required. This would not have inconvenience any of the other customers, I can’t understand the hesitancy of the staff.

Once I managed to convince a staff member that I was unimpressed with the so called “service” he handed me his phone to call customer care. I thought I would inform the store manager about my experience before permanently cancelling my contract with Vodacom. The manager was not in the store but the assistant manager was available. Well this is a classic case of sending a boy to do a man’s job!! (No ************** to our wonderful strong woman in the world). This boy needs to go back to customer service training. All I got out of him was a snide remark of "Well we sorted it out for you, didn’t we", as if Vodacom’s customers should not expect to be treated promptly and with respect. As this came out of his mouth and I knew that this conversation was over.

Please note that I will be cancelling my contract, unless Vodacom can see the shortfalls in their service and contract me on my email address ********** to convince me as to why I should stay with Vodacom.

Let’s see if Vodacom really cares about their customers.

I will keep you all informed.

Matthew Feist
