Vodacom blocking numbers

I have been with vodacom for more than 15years now. All my personal details and businesses contain my vodacom number. Recently i was contacted by a ********* claiming to be from vodacom and asked me about my banking details and i did not give that info. After a week R1700 was paid to some webiner online through pay pal. I went to my bank and tried to reverse that transaction but failed. So i changed my bank card as advised by my bank. But my problrem is with vodacom because after a few weeks i recieved a massage from vodacom saying my number was being investigated for ********** activities. The next day the card was blocked. I went to a nearest vodacom branch and was told to return after a few day as their system was down. I did as told but when i did return they said i should do a sim swap and they tries to do it online but failed and said i should call after a few hours maybe the system is down. I did call the call center and was told that my card will be re-opened after 30 working days. After the wait of more than 35 days i called again and was told that i should just buy a new sim since my number will never operate again. Now my question was if lets say there was ********** activity on my part do i not deserve to provide my evidence to the ***** department? What about the businesses that i have lost? All i was saying is if they investigate and find me guilty for whatever why am i not being addressed and made to pay or dealt with? I waited for 36 days only to be told i should get a new sim. Vodacom in my view should have my number re opened since i have proof that my number was used by people to do ***** and as i was told data *****. I did not even use vodacom for data as that was my business number. I wish they could treat us better. As for anyone who wish to join them do at your own risk i have learnt the hard way.
