Vodacom blacklisted my phone and they don't want to fix it

I had a contract account with Vodacom, when covid19 hit the world I was unable to pay the account for couple of months and vodacom blacklisted me. I was handed over to the attorney for collections. I had no issue paying my account which I was able to settle in November 2021. My phone was blacklisted as well, I was unable to use my my phone throughout the period.

I've been battling with vodacom to unblacklist my phone since I am not longer owing them. I was requested to submit the IMEI NO of the phone and I did. To my surprise Vodacom only open their only channel of network. My phone before it was blacklisted it was able to use all simcards of all networks.

I've been in contact with vodacom to activate other networks, they sending me back and forth not helping me, I've called them and they referred me to a vodacom store. When I arrived there they sending me back to the contact center. Contact center is unable to helpe as well. Their final say is that my phone must be fixed at the store which I've been there as well.

I need help for Vodacom to fix my phone to allow all networks to function on my phone since I owe them nothing.

Should I take the legal route and sue vodacom for all this frustration and *********** service.
