Vodacom Black Friday nokia 8 false advertising

False advertising of Black Friday nokia scirroco deal. Much the same as the other complaints I have seen, I had no communication up to today where I was told to choose between two inferior devices (Nokia 7 plus and a El cheapo Samsung). These devices are approximately 40% cheaper than the phone advertised.

THIS IS NOT WHAT I ORDERED!!!

this is a lovely case of bait and switch and something that I feel the consumer protector should be made aware of. Vodacom had every right to limit to quantities of the special, but they indicated clearly at all relevant times that the item was in stock. This has proven to be false and therefore a lie. This lie enduced myself and others to make a purchase that we would not have otherwise made. This also prevented us from benefitting from competing one day only deals.

I honestly would have expected better from Vodacom. surely they would value customer care and reputation enough to provide an alternate device of the same value ??
