Vodacom Black Friday ****

Vodacom is a ****. Possible that am the only one dealing with this?

App**** for contract Online, Vodacom Website, 2 IPhone 15 Deal. Got a a summary of my application, submitted and receipt of my application sent.

Received an email which was different from what I app**** for, it didn't even include the insurance cover. Got a call from Vodacom to verify me. Told the lady document I received didn't show any insurance and didn't get to any other detail. She mentioned I shouldn't stress insurance only get activated once the devices are delivered.

Devices got delivered. Got a call from Vodacom Insurance Department thinking Insurance was to be activated, only to be told different prices from the Online prices. That's where the headache with this deal felt real.

After being taken from one end to the other to sort the matter I eventually learnt "my" application was actually processed by some Vodacom in the East Rand. I then learnt my original application was canceled, reason: Incorrect Deal/Package. That was never communicated to me, Vodacom decided to give what they saw fit.

I took screeshots of my application, for this very reason: ****rish tendencies of businesses like Vodacom.

What I want from Vodacom: To give me what they sold me Online. What they thought was an easy way out of this was to take the devices back and we start the deal from scratch. They actually sent courier company to come get the devices, I chose not to frustrate my kids by taking the phones from them while Vodacom plays lure games then change tune.

To date Vodacom would not take responsibility of what they sold me Online, I remain with two wrong (not what i bought)contracts (online/shop) not sure which is valid. The shop says theirs is valid cause it got a latest date. The devices remain uninsured, which I believe remain Vodacom's problem cause I was given insurance option when I app****, which to them meant nothing.

I was told insurance shown online was actually for IPhone17, that time they selling me IPhone15s. I was told insurance shown was actually for one phone, additional phone (promotional phone as they call it) wasn't part. That time that wasn't specified on application while they busy selling you two phones.

Have since taken the matter to Consumer Protection which I hope will help that I be given what I was sold as Vodacom can't make sales with misleading advertising.
