I am a Vodacom fibre customer that has had connection suspended due to nonpayment of two installments. Upon investigation I found that two payments I made by debit card at Vodacom Musgrave and Vodacom Bluff respectively for R650 each did not get allocated correctly to Vodacom (Pty) Ltd. In spite of sending proof of payment and a report from my bank that the payments were successfully made to Vodacom I am still disconnected after 14 days. Over 200 minutes of airtime and 32 emails later the Vodacom Legal department still refuses to issue an instruction to reconnect me in spite of the fact that I went and repaid again to bring the account up to date while they correct their internal error. The agent stated that he can see on his system that the account is up to date but the outstanding matter with the store payment is still an issue even if my account is current. He undertook to get his supervisor to call me and that did not happen. I missed an online interview with a Saudi company because I couldn't get reception on my cellphone. I have a son in Varsity that is studying online at present. I have lost two weeks of connectivity and lots of airtime with no end in sight. I have been greatly disrespected and belittled in front of my family because I can't explain why they can't do their normal online things they have become accustomed to. Rudzani Lithole of the complaints department has not even been able to sort this out even after I have done all the tracing for him. Totally disgusted.
