Vodacom BIG ********
Vodacom once again is not taking responsibility for my disappearing data . They claim that iCloud is activated on my router , iCloud is on the phone and not router . I spoke to 4 consultants who all refused to assist to log another query and told me to take my phone to istore . When I’m using data on my phone I don’t have any issues so clearly the phone is not the problem. Now every time I connect to the router , without even using any app data disappears . They told me that peer to peer sharing is also using my data , I don’t even know what that is . They try by all means not to take responsibility for disappearing data and they are not helpful at all

18 Jan 2021, 20:04My goodness I spoke to 4 consultants trying to explain how the moment I connect to the router then data vanishes .. Connecting with the iPad or IPhone then data disappears so how are they claiming it’s the phone. iCloud is not active , it’s activated when a back up is done and I back up my phone with midnight data as I try to save data. Then I was told peer to peer sharing is the reason for my data vanishing I don’t even know what that is . Also Amazon which I’ve never used . But Vodacom just won’t take responsibility , what will happen next month to my data as I now can’t use my router due to the concerning rate at which data is vanishing .
I once logged a complaint with consumer protection and the guy from vodacom spent almost and hour trying to convince me my data vanishing was my fault . Again now I have the same issue but no one cares . Also I was told you can’t see the times of usage just the graph so how do you say for certain the iCloud is the culprit . Yesterday my Vodaapp data usage was showing 0mb used but data was still disappearing . For someone who has 4 contracts with Voda and wanting to take a 5th this treatment hurts
