Vodacom Big Rewards ****

I was contacted by Leroy who confirmed that I had won R25000 in cash R5000 in grocery voucher and a Kio Rio 1.4. He did not ask for any personal information or banking details. Requested details of where the car can be delivered and then said that in order to close the claim, by SA Law, I need to make a donation to any charity minimum of R1000. The number i was called from was *** he then transferred me to his manager Jaco who confirmed same.

Jaco called me to check if the payment was made to which I said not yet. I then called the number and he answered as Vodacom. He also expressed its not a **** and on true caller it came up as Vodacom.

I called 082 135 and *** it would be reported to a manager and i get expect a response with 24hours.

In the meantime I am still getting calls to see if the payment of R1000 has been made.

Who do we hold accountable for our personal information being given out??
