Vodacom Big Business Contempt

My wife spotted that there was a Lenovo Laptop offered on Vodacom Site. So she went to the Grove Branch of Vodacom in order to purchase it. The saleslady subjected her to a sales pitch about a Huawei. My wife was impressed but stressed that it had to be of the same size as my Lenovo IdeaPad on account of my age related diminish eyesight. She was given a categorical assurance that it was ... and from the size of the box, it appeared so, She came home and set it up. On my arrival I discovered that it was appreciably smaller than my current Lenovo IdeaPad, and therefore presenting me with visual challenges.

So the next morning I went to Vodacom Grove but was coldly brushed off on the basis that my wife had run the Huawei ... and therefore their 7-day-return policy did not apply. With GREAT GREAT difficulty I finally manged to speak telephonically with the Manager. He also sought to refuge in the fact that my wife had set up the laptop!!

I explained that RESTORING THE LAPTOP TO ITS FACTORY SETTINGS WAS A VERY SIMPLE PROCESS. He promised "to see what he could do and phone me back". Over the last 2 days, despite innumerable phone promises made by Grove staff ... he has not phoned back. I have posted a COMPLAINT on Vodacom's Complaint Website. I AM NOT HOLDING MY BREATH.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
