Vodacom bad service form headoffice, customer care and legal department

Vodacom Due to lockdown we did not have worked till end of August and ask vodacom if we can change our contracts to prepaid. They helped after we had to pay certain amounts. My husband phone was deleted from vodacom due to short payments. He had this phone number since vodacom started. After several phone calls and visits to vodacom and after the consultant advised us to pay the full outstanding amount the account will be zero. We emailed the reactivation forms and proof of payments to ***********, we phone again after they said at the vodacom shop in Kathu that reactivation will be after 24-48 hours. This was from the 23/11/2020. Still his phone is not reactivated and we phone again Vodacom legal and got to the same consultant and he said after we spoke and made the arrangement and payments vodacom invoiced us again for another R2000, which he could not explain why, as he put it on the system that we made arrangement to pay the outstanding amount at the vodacom shop in Kathu and that it would show on their system after 15 min. We got cut of and we tried to phone them several times again to speak to the same consultant. Still no answer why his phone is not reactivated. This is how vodacom tread you after 20 years. His phone nr ********** Vodacom's reply: 28 Nov 2020, 09:53

We are still waiting to reactivate his number back on prepaid. No answer.
They say some consultant will contact us. Still want to know how they gonna call him as they deleted his number. We just want his number back on prepaid. Is that so difficult. This is the service vodacom gives his clients after 20 years

To reactivate your Vodacom line:

  • Complete the Reactivation Form
  • Attach the required documentation (mentioned on the form) plus your proof of payment
  • Send us the completed form and documents. Email it to *** or fax it to ***

The documents required and T&Cs are specified on the Reactivation Form. Please remember to attach your proof of payment for the arrear amount paid.
This is what vodacom says but this is not what they do.
