Vodacom Bad service and Handset repairs

About 4 weeks ago, i handed my phone in for repairs at your Cape Gate Branch after a consultant telling me that my port was damaged and needed to be replaced. I paid for a data back of R299 before proceeding. it has been 4 weeks now and I have been shoved from pillar to post. The vodacom repair centre, didnt bother to leave a message on my cell phone, they called me once from a private number, and sent me one email advising that they cant do a back up (??) - there was no charge to this repair as the phone is still under warranty - of which i had already done in the branch, and then returned my handset to Cape gate branch. After Ulrich the manager contacted me there, and I told him that i needed my phone fixed. Let me advise you that i have not received nor had my handset in my possession for the last 4 weeks. On the second time the repair centre received my phone to repair, THEY NOW ADVISED that it would cost R2600 to repair I was fuming at this stage. when i contacted the repair centre, they advised THAT THE PHONE HAD BEEN DAMAGED since the last time they saw it, and now it would cost me R2600 to repair. I have never had the handset in my possession from it being "send back and forward " to the relevant branches. I urgently requested that Riaan from the Repair Centre please contact me to discuss this matter. No response ever. I then spoke again to Ulrich the manager of cape gate, whom advised me that he would speak to the Manager at the repair centre and get back to me on the 4 may 2018. I am still waiting. !! I am not prepared to now pay the R2600, when the first time, there was no charge, I have not seen no handled my phone, which is still under warranty might I add. I just want my phone back, so that I can get it repaired elsewhere and cancel my contact with Vodacom - the service has been terrible, and Managers committing to call you back then they don't - is there no etiquette in professionalism anymore. Every month Vodacom takes my money via my contract on debit order and are happy to do so. The moment you need something from them or require a service , its like they switch off and do nothing to assist you. This is the worst service I have ever received, and now I am being forced to pay for R2600 damages I did not incur on my phone, together with the terrible service I received on submitting my handset in for repairs. I use my phone for business, and Vodacom has been the responsible party for me loosing out on business for the past 4 weeks. I just want my phone back - CAN SOMEONEBODY ORGANISE THAT FOR ME!!! at this stage, I am so fed up and tired of explaining myself. Vodacom is a reputable company - what is going on with this terrible bad service and the repair centre at Vodacom tygervalley really need some people s****s. I am still waiting for Riaan, the Manager to call me back since the 2 May 2018 - as well as Ulrich from Cape gate, I have called in yesterday and he was off - so there is no one else to help me in the shop - that's what I was told - I am not paying one cent towards the Phone that has been damaged 2nd time around, after I never had the handset in my possession since the last 4 weeks, I want my phone back and want nothing to do with Vodacom - I will be sure to be cancelling my contract - but at this stage, Vodacom have threatened not to give my handset back - I will take this further !! give me my phone back!!

so I received a call from you Moddy, who advised that Colleen Wilson (VD) ********** will apply to me: This is the reply I received - WHICH IS UNNACCEPTABLE. - and see my response - this has not resolved the issue on hand: Initially when the phone was booked in for THE FIRST TIME. THERE WAS NO CHARGE, AS THE REPAIR CENTRE ONLY requested permission to go ahead without back up !! When the phone was RETURNED THE 2ND TIME, ALL OF A SUDDEN THERE WAS A CHARGE OF R2600 ?? Why was this done charged and quote for the FIRST TIME THE PHONE WAS IN AT THE REPAIR CENTRE FOR THE REPAIRS, (I still have the email where the repair centre only requested my permission to go ahead without no backup – NO CHARGE ATTACHED to this quote) These photos were taken the SECOND TIME MY PHONE WAS sent back from the Vodacom Cape Gate to the repair centre NOT SO? This reply is unacceptable and certainly not customer care – nothing has been resolved, and more than 4 weeks have gone by with bad service. ‘ Now I am left to fix a phone that was not “Damaged” like this in the first place. A port breaking off from the motherboard must have really been thrown around and damaged. This was not your findings THE FIRST TIME MY PHONE WAS BOOKED INTO THE REPAIR CENTRE – I have proof of the email. 2nd time around, I now have a charge of excess of R2600 Do you call this customer service. I know the facts, and that is all that you have done again – IS REPORT ON facts. Does anyone not look at the fact that the first time around – THERE WAS NO CHARGE ?? I never received my handset In my possession. But the 2nd time around I now HAVE R2600 COSTS. ??????? a further response from me: I REFER TO THE ATTACHED EMAIL FROM REPAIRS – I was away and not on my Gmail. I spoke to Elzaan and asked why was a message not left on my cellphone to call back?? I HAD ALREADY PAID R299 TO THE CAPE GATE CENTRE TO BACK UP MY PHONE – why was this email necessary?? I asked cape gate to make mention of this in the form I had completed. So why not go ahead with the repair of the phone. I HAD ALREDY PAID FOR A R299 BACKUP TO VODACOM prior to sending my phone off!!
