Vodacom Bad Customer Service

I wish to log a complaint because my Vodacom contract legally expired, whereafter the default agreement was month to month.

I’ve tried canceling this arrangement by calling the Vodacom call center where nobody responds to my call/request. On 22 May 2020 in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic, after struggling to cancel this contract I sent Vodacom an Email to cancel the contract with no success at all. Meanwhile while calling to get this resolved I talked to them telephonically and they requested that I send a signed letter with the cancellation which I’ve written on the 25th of May 2020, but I was given an incorrect email address to send it to.

I followed up on the status on 28 May 2020 and informed Vodacom that since my request isn’t taken care of that I will cancel the debit order in the new month, which I’ve done.

I've realised that it's a tactic to make the cancellation of a contract as difficult as possible in order not to lose that income, which in my opinion is poor taste.

In the same period, I've cancelled my MTN contract successfully without any difficulties.

To Vodacom I am only a number because If I was such a valuable customer why wasn't this resolved with me.

Now the account is handed over to Attorney Barnard Raff that uses the same tactics, they don't even try to contact me or return my calls; just send me a letter via Whatsapp threatening me about a bad credit record, this is bullying in my opinion.
