Vodacom Bad Company Passing the Buck!!!
So i have endless problems with Vodacom, after spending 30 minutes on the call with them they still trying to investigate and i was advised to book the phone in again. The Phone was booked in @ Vodacom Berea, Vincent Park 3 times & Cellur City 1 time .Huawei Technicians could not fix it either i got various stories as to what went wrong. Received this from Huawei International also it did not work. In addition i have inserted 3 new simcards it also did not work in the device.
Back up your phone data via https://consumer.huawei.com/za/support/content/en-us***8/ restore your phone to its factory settings, and download the official WhatsApp from Huawei AppGallery. Then, WhatsApp can be successfully installed.
How to reset after Back up; Go to Settings > System & updates > Reset > Reset phone, touch Reset phone, and follow the onscreen instructions to restore factory settings.
If you don't wish to proceed with factory reset, it is recommended that you try the following operations:
1. Back up WhatsApp data https://consumer.huawei.com/za/support/content/en-us***3/
Open the File app, tap Browse, and access Internal storage/Android/media/com.whatsapp/, and then move the WhatsApp folder to a different folder under Internal storage. Note that the original WhatsApp folder needs to be deleted.
2. Clear cache.
a. Clear the cache of the Huawei AppGallery and HMS Core.
l Go to Settings > Apps > Apps > HMS Core > Storage > CLEAR CACHE.
l Go to Settings > Apps > Apps > Huawei AppGallery > Storage > CLEAR CACHE.
b. Open the File app, tap Browse, go to Downloads/Received files > Download Manager, and then delete all WhatsApp-related files.
c. Reset all settings. Go to Settings > System & updates > Reset > Reset all settings.
d. Clear the phone cache. Power off the phone, press and hold the volume up and power buttons at the same time. The phone will enter the eRecovery mode after it vibrates. Then, select Clear data > Wipe cache partition > back, and then select Restart.
3. Re-download WhatsApp from AppGallery.
a. Go to Huawei AppGallery, search for WhatsApp, and download and install it.
b. Move the backed up WhatsApp folder to android/media/com.whatsapp.
c. Allow all permissions requested by WhatsApp, and then log in WhatsApp.

So @ the end of the day the dealership,huweai and Vodacom dont want to take ownership for the faulty device. I asked for the device to be replaced, refund all my money back or terminate the contract to, Vodacom cannot do anything about it, they happy to take my money every month!!! They are *******!!!!
