Vodacom at it's best

I have been a client with Vodacom for more than 15 years. I normally have 5-6 contracts at a time. Recently both me and my daughter’s phones were ******. Mine a brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 5, new covers etc. I haven’t even had time to get this phone on my insurance yet so I have lost a lot of money. This incident occurred on the 11/04/2016. That same day I reported the phones with Vodacom as ****** and blocked the phones and the lines and the SIM cards. Then I received the bill. The person who stole the phones managed to use the SIM cards after I have blocked the lines. There are huge amounts for SMS’s and Content Services which I don’t even know what that is. At the time I didn’t do SIM swaps as I wasn’t sure what phones we would get and didn’t want to lose more money doing this and the SIM is the wrong type etc. But I am 100% sure that I blocked the SIM’s, lines etc. Today is the 30/06/2016 and I am no closer to get the prove from Vodacom by feedback on how this happened. They just closed the case saying that I never blocked the SIM. If so then send me prove of the conversation that day, they say it’s recorded so I want to hear that conversation. They know they messed up but am not prepared to man up. Is this how they treat their clients? This is a work number and I am losing clients by the day because they can’t reach me. I want this matter resolved by the end of today as I think they have had more than enough time to get me the prove I need as they know they do not have a leg to stand on. If this does not happen I will get legal advice. I have lost a lot and will not pay one cent further for someone at Vodacom not doing his job on the 11/04/2016.

Reviewer Update

A Consultant contacted me on Thursday the 30th of June asking for the number i phoned from to report the ****** phones. I gave him the number and he commented that he woud check the records, i have still not heard from vodacom after that.

I am losing clients but that does not seem to be a problem for vodacom.
