Vodacom - Arrogant and Disrespectful

After waiting two years for my upgrade date to arrive, I was told NOT TO process the upgrade on 1 June, but to wait for the 7th of June as all the new Vodacom Specials are coming out. I currently pay around R435 for my contract, I have two other data contracts and my wife's contract also deducted from my account meaning I pay well over R1200 per month to Vodacom. On 1 June, I could get a Samsung A30 for R509, so could everybody else on the same contract. On 7 June, early morning I go in to process the upgrade, only to find it is now R529 for exactly the same thing. The phone launched February, these phones loose value daily with newer better ones coming out daily, how is it possible that the same thing could cost more even though you get less value??? After trying the Vodacom website, the Vodacom App etc. I phoned Vodacom, I was on the phone for 9min 56sec, asking to consider my relationship and spending with Vodacom and asking to get a better deal, similar to what I have now with this phone (which is a very basic phone). The consultant on a recorded telephone call confirmed they have submitted a request for me, as she found a better deal online and would do a "deal Match" for me. I spoke to Lebo at 8:30am on 7 June and have a copy of the 10 minute call recording. Today I wanted to follow up on what is happening and was pushed from pillar to post. Zandile, an upgrades consultant, could not help me after explaining everything to her and told me to speak to the retention department. I then spoke to Nkuli who told me that his system was down and he could not help me. I then asked that he transfers me to some one whose system is working (as it was only his hub that had system issues (why do you field calls if you have no system)). He then proceeded to put me on hold, take me off hold and drop the call in my ear. I then phoned back and spoke to Nhlanhla, who told me no call was logged on Friday, as per recorded phone call by Lebo and that there was nothing he can do to help me. He said Vodacom is the cheapest and there is nothing anybody can do to help me. Also refused to give me his surname, as he was protecting his information. He said I did not pay for the phone, but I could get the same contract for R130 cheaper if I take no phone and then gradully more depending on what phone I take, in other words you pay more depending on the value of the phone????????? Now it is two weeks later, I still have not upgraded or received a new phone and Vodacom has an extremely arrogant and self-righteous attitude with no regard for their customer of almost 20 years.
