Vodacom are you kidding me!!!!!!!!
To Vodacom
I honestly wish i didn't have to resort to a public forum in order to get my problem solved, the service and level of competence of your service department is utterly and simply put horrible. I honestly don't know why you have a customer care department if this is the level of service I as a loyal paying customer receives when I have an issue.
Please see below my first email to your department
Kindly advise as to why I am stil being billed for device insurance when the policy has been cancelled effective 30 September 2019(please see confirmation email attached).
I did receive a sms yesterday from Vodacom saying that my debit order did indeed fail on 01/11/2019, this was done intentionally from my side as I feel it unfair that Vodacom continually generates invoices addressed to me for incorrect amounts and services that I HAVE UNSUBSCRIBED FROM and then i must foot the bill. I have contacted the customer care department in this regard to no result(please refer to your and finrite system notes).
First I would like to know what Vodacom procedure is when a contact upgrade is initiate considering the old device(in this case an LG G6 on contract with vodacom from 01/08/2017 to 17/05/2019 when the contract was upgrade to the current device a Huawei P30). Please explain as to why the insurance on a device is not automatically canceled when a contract is upgrade to a new device.
Secondly I would like to explain that this is ********** and considered contract breaking, the terms of the contract has been broken by Vodacom due to invoicing me for services I am not subscribed to. Therefor on this basis of the contract being broken my outstanding amount to vodacom is R0.00. Therefor i kindly request that my entire profile be deleted from Vodaom's system as I have no contract with Vodacom.
Take note this was sent on 11/11/2019 to ***,za wiht attachments further providing clarity and evidence as to the problem at hand.
how can 3 consultants in 1 day refer me back to the insurance department when the issue at hand is clearly not with Finrite!
I have always been a fan of vodacom in the way they did business, for as long I can remember they used to be able to always give you the right answer the first time without hassle and public forums to complain etc. HOWEVER after this simple issue that seems cannot be resolved by the consultants employed by vodacom I am pretty sure that I will never recommend Vodacom as a service provided to anyone.
