VODACOM ARE TOTALLY ***********
I posted this almost a month ago and,despite being told that I would be contacted (and further messages to hellopeter) I have not heard from this from bunch of ******* who still owe me over R6000. How does one win with them???
In September 2017 I was sold a router under false pretenses which Vodacom acknowledged in November and agreed to refund me. I have spoken to people in their call center at least a dozen times - they don't n't seem to know what they are doing but they promise that my calls will be returned and that the problem will be escalated. I am still waiting for a call from anyone at this organization despite being told I would be called the same day.

26 Feb 2019, 07:44On day 2 I received a call from the supplier who advised that Vodacom had been told to refund me in November, that she would escalate this and she would call me back on Friday or Monday - I am still waiting.

They advised that they were going to escalate the problem even higher and that I will have an answer by the end of the week. Knowing the incompetence of Vodacom I will believe it when I see it

26 Mar 2019, 00:10After many months of fighting with Vodacom their agent managed to arrange for a refund BUT the *****s at Vodacom cannot do basic arithmetic and only refunded a quarter of what they owed. When I spoke to them they saw their mistake and assured me of a full refund within a week - 2 weeks later I am still waiting

24 Apr 2019, 15:38Has Vodacom closed down due to incompetence? I tried calling a number of times today and, after listening to the options, a message tells you that the number you have dialed does not exist. Don't suppose that this should come as a surprise.

22 May 2019, 16:47It is now the middle of May and I have still not received my refund. When I phone them I get shunted from pillar to post with no result - what more can I do to get my R4000+ refund from this bunch of *******?!
