Vodacom are ******* and ***** from their customers, no feedback or support for months
Hi Vodacom, I continue to struggle to communicate the fact that a contract was taken out by Vodacom staff without my consent or signature on contract.
Ihave been trying to resolve a contract that was approved on my name without my consent and Vodacom is shifting blame and cant even call me to resolve the matter. Since July 2021 I have been trying to get this resolved with minimal feedback from Vodacom. Messages and Emails are ignored. Again no reply on emails or comments left on Hellopeter, the lack of service is astonishing, the fact you can debit an account for a contract I didn't sign for should be *******, and no reply from ***** department.
I never received the notice as mentioned. How can this not be ***** - I never approved the contract and never signed for the contract so how can I be liable for a contract I didn't approve, give consent, or sign for? How can Vodacom process a Contract where the owner doesn't sign or give consent or approve the contract?
Can Vodacom show that I signed this contract? If so I can then agree to the charges, but no one at Vodacom supplies feedback or any support. I am still waiting to see a Contract with my signature?
The number might belong as it was on prepaid after I took over the phone from a deceased family member. The contract was taken out in a different province from that I reside and was never approved by myself the account holder. How can a Vodacom staff approve a new contract without a signature or approval from the account holder? The salesperson must have known this and proceeded to supply contact to a person knowing a signature is needed, please provide proof that I signed and approved this contract, the salesperson proceeded and claims sales commission without a valid contract in place, this is my dispute. I never agreed or approved the contract for this number. The number can remain on my account but the contract should be removed. How can Vodacom allow someone to sign up for a contract without the account owner's consent, signature, or approval?
Vodacom or the Salesperson should be held liable for this, Vodacom has confirmed there is no signature on the contract however they want to still claim I am liable? The Salesperson should be liable as how can they process a contract claim commission without the owner's approval?
Please can I get urgent feedback?
Thanks for your reply however I don't agree.
Vodacom and the shop that released the phone are responsible and liable and not Pauline Elizabeth Van Heerden.
If you go to a Bottle store and sell alcohol to a minor - who is responsible - the Bottle store has rules and procedures in place. They cannot sell to minors and if they do their licenses can be revoked. Same for cigarettes.
Pauline Elizabeth Van Heerden received an SMS stating she was due for an upgrade, (Her month had just passed away) she went into a Vodacom store and the store salesperson upgraded the phone and contract without the account holder/main members consent or signature - I did not supply consent nor did I sign this contract. SO again how can a store allow a contract to be taken out without the account holder's consent?
IN a Game store a Family member cannot use my Game card as they require the ID and the signature of the Account holder before any transaction can be purchased.
Banks have processes in place they cannot supply details or info for members, so how can you allow a person to walk into a store and take a phone without the consent from the main member? Either the store must be held liable or Vodacom.
But with Vodacom they are different and rules don't apply.
So anyone can walk into a store and take out a contract on my account without approval or verification that the person may/ or has the right to take the phone? Not even a phone call to me confirming if they can take the phone.
This is poor operating procedures and shifting blame to the client as Vodacom.
Please can a senior manager call me to discuss and sort this out, as I will be taking this further?
I have requested the contract to be canceled with no assistance, so again I am paying for incompetence on Vodacom's side, their staff, and poor processes. So being a loyal customer for a client for over 20 Years is irrelevant. I will look at taking my services elsewhere once I can get these contracts canceled.
The above message I have never seen until today, after a year of back and forth still no real feedback or call to answer questions or provide support.
Poor service delivery, support, and no value for their client base are what Vodacom seems all about.
Thanks for your reply however I don't agree.
