Vodacom are *******

It has now been two months since my husband upgraded his data account with Cellucity and Vodacom. He has been charged both months the rate for the new upgraded amount. However, he has not received the data that he is paying for. In October, after numerous calls to Vodacom, they attempted to allocate promotional data to the account that they said is purely promotional. We have just received a statement from Vodacom, charging us extra for the “promotional” data which we never received. Not only are they charging for data not received, but they are also charging for “free” data that has not been received.

It has now been over two months since this query has been open with Vodacom. Vodacom refused to take responsibility for the problem and insisted we visit the Cellucity branch at which the upgrade was made, even though it was extremely out of our way to do so. After requesting that Gino from Cellucity in Somerset West take over on our behalf and try and sort out this issue, they seem to have been consistently and deliberately avoiding sorting out this issue.

In regard to Gino’s professional conduct on the phone, we appreciate it when we actually get to speak to him, however after numerous times where we requested a callback, no one calls us back. Cellucity have not been able to resolve this matter in the month that it has been in their hands. We asked them to call us yesterday with an update. We have been ignored.

After two months, what else can we do but post this complaint all over social media, in an attempt to sort out the problem? You have had more than enough time to sort this out, Vodacom and Cellucity!
