Vodacom are *******
(This is a follow up review to the below initial complaint)This is ****** bull****. Your consultant called me and advised me that they cannot do a refund because I agreed to the 48 hours. I agreed to the 48 hours, this is why I called to find out why my debit did not go off. She then advised me it will go off at the end of the month due to them not generating a statement. This is not my fault. This is the agents fault for advising me incorrectly. Your agent (Let****o) Mislead me. I was under the impression that my debit will go off at the end of the month due to it not going off within 48 hours. You are trying to blame me for something your agent mislead on. Your agent that called me now was very rude and I did swear her because she was being rude and advised me she is going to cut the call. Furthermore she made it seem that it was my fault and I kept insisting to speak to the floor manage however she said she was going to cut the call. At this point I am so frustrated because your agent cut the call on me. To top it off I advised the agent I will do a reverse debit order, your agent has an attitude to tell me about my bank charges for the reverse order and the penalties Vodacom will charge to me. Why is so hard for you resolve my issue because I am not paying for this debit. I have a debit that has extra bank charges. You should train your agents to advise correctly and stop blaming your customers. I do not want your agent to be dealt accordingly. I want a refund including with my bank charges. Like I said you are fast to debit but slow to return money. You are *******. And how is it that you are charging me more for my contract for a pro rata basis plus the sim and connection fee
*I took out two contracts with Vodacom last week and I was advised that my first debit will go off within 48 hours which I agreed to. 48 hours later I call the call centre and asked the agent (letshego) if my first debit went off. The agent advised that it did not go off. I asked her when it will go off and she said on the 30th of this month (30.04.2019) since that is my debit date. I asked her why did it not go off as yet due to my first payment not going off within 48 hours and she advised that due to them not generating a statement as yet that it will go off at the end of the month which is on the 30.04.2019. I then asked the agent if she is sure and she said yes. Now that I am aware that my debit will go off at the end of the month and I get paid before that. I drew out all the money from my account. This morning I receive a SMS that R***x is paid from my account. I know that there is no money in my account so how did my debit go off. I go onto my online banking and see there is a negative sign next to the amount that I am owing. Now my account is an in an overdraft and now I am owing the bank money. At this point I am so ****** angry because my bank account has never went into an overdraft and all my debits always went off time. I then call the Vodacom call centre to ask about the first debit going off and the agent (Zandile) confirmed that it went off. I then advised her about the negative amount that is showing for my bank account. She said that I am owing the bank money. I advised her as to what the previous agent advised me and I told her I want my money back because I am owing the ****** bank now. She said she cannot refund me my money. I then asked her to let me speak to her floor manager. She then avoided the question and carried on speaking until I insisted on speaking to the floor manager. I was eventually transferred to the manager. I then asked are you the floor manager or a team leader and he advised he is a team leader. The Team leaders name was Ishmail. I advised what had happed and he explained the 48 hours to me again and I told him I know how it works and I agreed for the 48 hour debit to off however Lethshogo had advised me that the debit will go off at the end of the month. I told him I want the money now. He said he log a claim. I asked how long will it take and he said 7 to 19 days. I told him I cannot wait that long because I owe the bank now. He advised me that he can have the accounts department to call me at 8. He took my number and until now they did not call me. The agents and Team leaders are inadequate to handle any situation. This is bull****. How can I trust Vodacom to do debits on time in the future because I am not going to keep calling to find out if my debit went off and probably sit with an overdraft on my bank account? I refuse to pay for the overdraft that is on my bank account, this is f***** ridiculous. This is my first dealing with Vodacom and I have to say this is pathetic. I want my refund and I want it now. I do not want it in the next 7 to 19 days. I want it now because I am owing the bank now. I cannot trust Vodacom to do any future debits on my account because I simply cannot trust Vodacom. I know how Vodacom work. I am a team leader for the quality assurance department for a call centre and one of my campaigns is Vodacom so I know the in and outs for Vodacom. Vodacom is taking up my valuable time and worrying with me with something that should even be off any concern. Please learn to train your agents before they speak to a customer and advise us as customers incorrectly and cover everything when a customer calls and ask about their debit. How do you expect me to pay for the next 24 months if I cannot trust you to a simple debit on time and because you cannot do a simple debit on time I must sit with an overdraft with bank charges? I will not pay for the first debit and I will not pay for the bank charges that goes along with the overdraft and I do not trust having a contract with Vodacom. I will not pay for the next 24 months due to your agent making an error, you can have your agent pay for my 24 month contract that advised me incorrectly or Vodacom can pay for the contracts. I don’t care how it is paid. I am not paying for a contract where I cannot trust a service provider because if this happens again. I am not going to keep claiming for something that is not my fault and most likely you will not refund me. I have other debits that go off on time and this is the first time that this has happened to me. This is really bad service.*
