Vodacom are theives!!

I opened a new contract and SPECIFICALLY told the sales person that the contract had to be exactly like my existing contract i.e. unlimited airtime with 5GB data that CUTS OFF ONCE FINISHED SO I CAN THEN LOAD DATA BUNDLES. However #Vodacom FAILED to do this and as a result I was charged for data at out of bundle rates - R12,000 to be exact.

I lodged a complaint with the call center on 19 August and the phone line was cut while they attended to the query and said it would take 7 - 14 days. I told them that was unacceptable as the phone was for business. The agent promised me she would into it and sort it out. I received no feedback, so I called on 23 August again. I again had to explain my saga -quite heatedly by this point - and the agent again promised to look into it and come back to me. Again no feedback so I called AGAIN on 25 August - twice. Again no feedback. On 29 August I went in to the Waterfront branch where I opened up the contract and spoke to the manager Gino. I ranted and raved and popped a blood vessel and HE PROMISED to get back to me. Did he? NO!!

My direct debit of R2,000 however went off on the 31 August, as usual despite the fact that the phone is a glorified paperweight.

Does #Vodacom even care that I am a small entrepreneur trying to make a living? MOST EMPHATICALLY NO!! We are 17 days after the original complaint and the issue has STILL NOT BEEN RESOLVED!

#Vodacom you want me to rate your customer service? IT SUCKS!!! You have forgotten that your customers are human beings.

I have contacted a lawyer to get legal advice and will be in touch.
