VODACOM ARE ********

Good day

I am writing this request with a very heavy heart, I had a contract with Vodacom started on the 09/09/2019 Paying R 199.00 per month in 2020 June I lost my Job (retreanchments) but because I had obligations I continued paying until I couldnt afford paying anymore, in June 2021 I called requesting they terminate my contract since I cant afford to pay anymore, a lady that helped me told me that she will not be able to terminate the contract however she can assist by suspending same so that there arent any accumulating moneys and I continue paying R 200.00 until arrears are settled. I recently manage to get money and have settled the arrears on the 15/10/2021

Today I called to check if the contract is officially terminated since all arrears are settled, I spoke to Lorraine Zondi Ref : *** who 1st offered my a lesser contract saying Vodacom will allow me to pay about 74R for the next 3 months, this resulted in me being very unhappy, I mean I dont have employment for now how on earth can I afford paying any further contracts?? when I refused the offer she then told me that unfortunatly I will have 2 more months to pay before the contract can be terminated, by Law this contract should have expired in Sept 2021 since its a 2year contract. now that I have settled the debt now there are hidden costs and fees still to be paid that I wasnt told about.

I ddint understand all this and requested to speak to the manager, I was transfered to Kgomotso Nkuna - Manager of Retantion & Cancellation who said there is nothing she can do from her side and I need to speak to accounts, I asked for any e-mail address to address the matter, she could not provide any contact details for my query hence I then decided to escalate the matter.

Please assist me in finding any form of communication between myself and vodacom regarding this arrangement as I was not told about any additional costs, and the fact that all of a sudden Vodacom forgot the very important factor here that I no longer have employment so where am I going to get additonal costs??
